Guests of the Residences at Sweetgrass, Sweetgrass Inn, and Boardwalk Inn, each day, our housekeeping team works behind the scenes to keep your space fresh and inviting. Here’s what you can expect:

Wild Dunes Home and Condo Housekeeping Information:

A Departure Cleaning Fee will be added to each reservation to cover check-out cleans based upon unit size and seasonality. This covers the check-out clean and applies per unit, per stay. Please note that stays under seven nights receive a departure clean only. Stays of seven nights or more receive one complimentary midweek service which includes removing trash, replacing toiletries and guest amenities as needed. Saturday check-ins will receive service on Tuesdays and Sunday check-ins on Wednesdays. Daily service or trash and towel service are available upon request for an additional fee. Washers and dryers are included in every home and condo along with two powder detergents.

• Sweetgrass Inn and Boardwalk Inn Guest Rooms, and meeting attendee cancellations made less than 7 days prior to arrival will lose their one night deposit due at booking.
• Residences at Sweetgrass Rooms and Suites: One night payment due at booking and remainder due at 30 day prearrival cutoff. Both deposits are nonrefundable for cancellations.
• Wild Dunes Vacation Rentals Homes and Condos: 50% deposit is due at booking and remaining 50% is due at 30 days prearrival. All deposits are nonrefundable if the booking is cancelled.

The current sales and accommodations tax percentage is 14%, which is subject to change without notice.

Rate Information:

All rates are subject to availability and may change without notice. Rates do not include taxes/fees: Sales and Accommodations taxes 14%, Resort Fee 16% (listed above, subject to change).

Check-In Time:

After 4 p.m. Boardwalk Inn guests may check-in at the Boardwalk Inn front desk; Sweetgrass Inn, and Residences at Sweetgrass Inn guests check in at Sweetgrass Inn's front desk. Homes and Condos guests check in at our Resort Gate (5757 Palm Blvd.)

Check-Out Time:

11 a.m. for accommodations at Sweetgrass Inn, Boardwalk Inn, and the Residences at Sweetgrass. 10 a.m. for our vacation homes and condos. A late departure fee may be assessed for departures after aforementioned times.

Change in arrival or departure date is considered a cancellation of those dates.

Certain areas in the rental units are reserved for the exclusive use of the property Owner and will not be available for rental use. Guest agrees to indemnify the rental Owner and Wild Dunes Resort for any damages to the premises, including damages to furnishings and household items. Fees starting at $350 will be assessed if damages are incurred.

Sorry, no pets are allowed. Fees starting at $400 will be assessed if pets are found in the accommodation.

Smoking, vaping or use of illegal substances are not permitted in any rental units. Fees starting at $400 will be assessed if smoking occurs in the accommodation.

Outdoor grilling in rental units is strictly prohibited by local fire codes.

Motor homes, boat trailers, personal watercraft, motorcycles and other two wheeled motorized vehicles are prohibited within the gates of Wild Dunes in keeping with community rules. Wild Dunes Resort makes no provision for parking/storage of these vehicles. For overnight guests traveling on motorcycle, the Wild Dunes Resort Guest Experience team can assist with parking arrangements with advance notice. Please reach out to our Guest Experience team ahead of arrival to make arrangements. Valet parking is available for $35/day.

Select vacation rentals will not allow a Golf Cart/LSV to be used on their property.

Wild Dunes Resort is not responsible for the loss of any personal items or valuables. Safety deposit boxes are available upon request.

Please refrain from hanging clothing or towels from the balconies, windows or railings in accordance with the Wild Dunes Community Association regulations.

Isle of Palms noise ordinance requires that "quiet time" is in effect Sunday through Thursday from 10pm-10am and Friday and Saturday from 11pm-10am and includes noise restrictions on stereos, televisions and any other noise. Alcoholic beverages are not permitted on the beach and public streets. Guests will not exceed the occupancy limits of the accommodation as outlined in the Isle of Palms Livability Laws. Beach fires and fireworks are prohibited due to fire hazards. Beach chairs, umbrellas and tents left unattended on the beach after sunset may be disposed of by the City. For safety, guests are asked to refill any beach holes they may dig.
