When planning your visit to The Spa at Sweetgrass, it helps to know a few important details so you can arrive relaxed and ready to enjoy your experience.

The spa welcomes guests every day of the year, including holidays. Hours are Monday through Thursday from 9:00am to 6:00pm, Friday and Saturday from 9:00am to 8:00pm and Sundays for Retail Only from 10:00am to 3:00pm.

You’ll find The Spa at Sweetgrass on the first floor of the Sweetgrass Inn, just to the right of the front desk. Guests with a spa appointment or day pass enjoy complimentary valet service, making arrival seamless and stress‑free. We recommend arriving at least 20 minutes before your scheduled treatment to check in and settle into the relaxation areas.

Even if you don’t have an appointment, you can still enjoy the spa. Day passes are available for purchase, giving you access to the amenities and relaxation spaces. Locals and visitors alike are welcome — you don’t need to be staying at Wild Dunes Resort to book a treatment or purchase a pass.

Upon arrival, you’ll be provided with a robe and slippers. Guests may undress to their level of comfort; some choose to fully disrobe, while others prefer to keep undergarments on. The choice is entirely yours.

The spa locker rooms feature showers with Vitamin C‑infused showerheads for a rejuvenating touch. Infrared saunas are available for an additional fee and can be reserved through the concierge. For an elevated experience, cabanas in the spa garden can be rented and include a bottle of bubbles, cucumber infused spa water, chilled essential oil towels and plush spa towels.

Guests are invited to enjoy a curated selection of complimentary small bites and wellness teas in our spa pantry. For those seeking something more indulgent, our beverage program features sparkling bubbles, as well as red and white wines available for purchase.

The spa is happy to accommodate larger parties. Groups of eight or more are welcome, and a group booking coordinator can assist in planning your visit to ensure everything runs smoothly.

To preserve the tranquil environment, cell phone use is not permitted in locker rooms or relaxation spaces. Guests are encouraged to use “spa voices” to maintain a peaceful atmosphere.

Guests ages 13 to 16 are welcome to book youth services and enjoy spa amenities when accompanied by a parent or guardian. Children under 13 may receive select facial and nail treatments, with limited access to spa facilities.

Treatment prices do not include gratuities. Cancellations require at least 24 hours’ notice to avoid a 50% cancellation fee, and missed appointments are charged in full. Late arrivals will not extend treatment times, though full payment is still required. To ensure a seamless experience, we ask that all guests check out with spa concierge before departing to complete service and gratuity payments. If spa charges remain unsettled at closing, they will be automatically processed to the payment method on file.
